So, I’m sitting here in the apartment and I’ve just about finally finished the site design. Haley went to bed shortly after I got started so she’ll be in for a big surprise tomorrow morning. Between 11PM, and now 4 hours later I went from an idea to a fully functional site and I have to say I am relatively happy with the result. My inability to draw leaves me a little bit dissatisfied about just one spot but we’ll see how that turns out when I take another crack at it tomorrow.

The remaining todo list consists of:

• Make photos automatically list when the “Week X Photos” button gets clicked.
• Add more of the Week buttons into the code so that when they actually happen I just can switch them over to visible.
• Consider a php login system for editing news posts. It’s easy to ftp in but could be easier.
• Add some content pages with information on Japan, Fukuoka, or other topics of interest.

That’s all that comes to mind for now but who knows what crazy ideas I have tomorrow. For now, this is Will signing off and dreading early rising in the morning.
